The monoblock-extrusion chair entitled Fast Food was made by “extruding” strips of plywood and Formica in a single mold – a monoblock. It wished to shed light on the phenomenon of “relating to man as part of a chair- table unit” in the fast food business, and as part of the industrial machine. More than anything else, fast food is a trend-setter. The customers are part of the production line of marketing firm. Efficiency- that’s the name of the game. As soon as you walk into the territory, you are trapped .The chair-table is part of well-oiled machine, and by sitting down we complete the pattern and complete the efficiency cycle of consumer society. This chair-table Fast Food 1 could be the first unit in an endless modular series.
