This museum is the foundation for the Baltic International Tolerance Center that will be built in the future.

The plan aims to turn the whole area into a cultural complex with theatre, movie halls, museum, cafes, shops and restaurants. The new complex will attract the residents of the city, as well as tourists, to come and visit the different attractions and cultural institutions.

The Baltic International Tolerance Center will host exhibitions, lectures, movies and cultural events. It will also develop programs comprise a diverse and multi-faces spectrum of participants – old and young; women, men, children and youth; Professionals and agents of change, with an emphasis of the idea of tolerance and dialogue.

At the same time, the center will reveal the story of the history, culture and contribution of the Jews in the Baltic region in an interactive and contemporary way.
